Subscriptions that Solve
Turning Evidence into Real Answers
DNA is often called the “golden standard” of forensic science due to its exceptional reliability in criminal investigations. DNA testing is instrumental in identifying suspects, connecting them to crimes, and exonerating innocent individuals.
Today, advanced DNA testing using Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) is transforming law enforcement’s ability to solve violent crimes by combining cutting-edge science with a records search of genetic genealogy databases. Unlike traditional DNA matching, IGG allows investigators to identify unknown suspects or victims by finding distant relatives and building family trees to zero in on identities—even in decades-old cold cases.
At Resolve Forensics, we deliver real answers faster by starting with SNP DNA profiles over the traditional STR profile, bypassing long waits for direct NDIS or CODIS hits and opening an entirely new investigative avenue through IGG record searches. Our new subscription model has been designed to deliver more affordable access for everyone to this “game-changing” DNA technology, thanks to streamlined lab workflows, dedicated support managers, scalable testing technologies, and tiered subscription-based pricing, helping your organization plan, budget, and efficiently close more cases with accuracy and predictability.
For victims and their families, IGG brings accountability and justice—not just in solving crimes but in doing so with compassion and urgency. By turning biological evidence into actionable leads, IGG is reshaping the landscape of criminal investigations and giving law enforcement a powerful tool to close cases that once seemed unsolvable. Let’s get started and pick your plan!

Additional Included Services
Sample Counting Policy
For subscription cases where multiple samples from the same case fail at quantification or Phase 1 QC, Resolve Forensics will count up to three (3) such attempts as one (1) billable case. This supports flexibility for difficult or degraded evidence.
Scaling and Expansion Benefit
As Resolve Forensics grows and invests in additional automation and equipment, we anticipate increasing the number of cases included per subscription tier at no additional cost. While not guaranteed, this reflects our commitment to efficiency and client value.
Billing and Payment
Client shall select one (1) of the following six (6) annual subscription tiers. The selected tier provides a fixed number of forensic case submissions per year. Additional cases beyond the tiered allocation will be billed at standard a-la-carte rates. This Agreement shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from the effective start date. During the term, Resolve Forensics shall provide forensic DNA testing services for Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG), as outlined in the selected subscription tier.
Client shall remit payment either annually or in monthly installments, as selected, with the first payment due upon execution of this Agreement. All payments are non-refundable once services have been initiated, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties.
Confidentiality and Data Handling
All case data, DNA profiles, and related information shall be handled in strict compliance with applicable forensic standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices. Resolve Forensics agrees to maintain the confidentiality and security of all information, employing encrypted systems, access controls, and audit trails to protect sensitive data.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising under or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Salt Lake County, Utah.
Add-On: Backlog Reduction
Testing Schedule
Client may optionally include a Backlog Reduction Add-On for previously extracted DNA samples. These cases bypass extraction and Phase 1 QC and are processed directly through Resolve Forensics’ standard sequencing and bioinformatics workflow. Although no official definition exists for the DNA backlog, the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) defines a backlogged case as one that remains untested for 30 days after it has been submitted to a laboratory.
Add-On Backlog Reduction Cases do not include the upload of data to GEDmatch, FamilyTreeDNA, or any third-party database or any genealogical investigation, family tree building, or analysis by a FIGG professional.
